Debbie had just finished her shift at the cafe and had closed it up and then reluctantly started her walk home at 2 a.m. There were no buses running at this time and she did not want to pay for a cab. She also felt nervous in cabs as she found so many of the drivers creepy. Her walk home was a little over an hour but if she cut through the park it would shave off twenty minutes.
The initial part of her walk was always unnerving as she didn't know who could be lurking on the streets. As of late there had been a customer that has been repeatedly asking her out on dates and offering her a ride home and on one occasion he wouldn't leave the cafe at closing time. She had seen him earlier that evening watching her through the window, but it was only for a short period of time. Debbie didn't see him again that evening but she was extremely worried that he could be waiting outside to ask her if she needed to be walked home.
Debbie walked briskly through the streets with her hand in her purse and her finger on the nozzle of a mace can. If she saw him she was going to spray him. After about fifteen minutes of walking she came to a fork in the road. She could either keep going straight or cut through the dark park. Her decision was made for her as she saw her stalker waiting for her only two blocks away. She took off her shoes and began to walk through the park in her bare feet, this way he could not hear her.
After about a minute of walking she hid in some trees and waited to see if he would enter the park as he had done so many times in the past. Then came a beam of a flashlight that blinded her and someone quickly wrapped a cloth around her mouth and within seconds she passed out and her body disappeared.
Her family and friends reported her as a missing person, the police searched for her but came up with nothing. Then one of the girls she worked with at the cafe said she had a stalker named Emmanuelle Vance. The police picked him up and raked him over the coals to try and get a confession out of him or at least find out what he did with the body. During the interview all Vance would do is smile at the police. They let him go.
But then several months later the waitress reappeared. Her family asked her what happened and where she had been. She said that she didn't remember. All that she could recall was walking through the park that night and a flashlight beam in her face and a sharp smelling chemical over her mouth. The next thing she knew she woke up in the park last night not sure of what had happened.
Her parents then took her to the police who questioned her for nearly eight hours and told her while she was missing they had searched the area where she claimed to have woken up. The police then told the parents that she was lying and had likely run away to get attention, which was common for teenage girls.
Several months later Debbie checked into the hospital with intense stomach pains. The doctors performed an ultrasound on her stomach and then made her wait for a hour while they examined the results. They re-entered the examination room, closed the door and a doctor said, "We have got the results from the ultrasound... You are pregnant."
"I'm pregnant. My god. He must have attacked me in the bush that night. Is it a boy or a girl?"
The doctor turned and shook her head, "An alien. You must have been abducted."
