Danny Davies was born with a most unusual ability. This ability stemmed from a genetic anomaly that allowed him to recall events of literally anything that he had saw. His mind was like a tape recorder that had infinite capacity. The only problem that he had with it was how he would retrieve these recorded images. If someone asked him to recall an event it would take him some time to find it in his filing system.
During his teen years Danny knew that if he could find an application for his talent that he could become rich. When he turned 15 he decided that he was going to drop out of school and merely walk the streets and let his mind record what he saw. During this period of walking the streets he tried to develop a system of recalling the events. From his experimentation he realized that the longer he waited to recall the event then the harder it was to retrieve so after every event he saw he would stop and close his eyes to recall the event. He would automatize it in his mind so if someone asked about a certain event it would trigger the total recall and the event would play in its entirety in his head.
Then one day all the coins fit in the slots of his mind and he found the application to his powers of total recall. It came to him when he witnessed a robbery that resulted in a double murder of two bank employees. That day Danny was standing at a bus stop when a van pulled up to the front of the bank and three men in black jumpsuits and balaclavas hopped out holding assault rifles. Rapidly they entered the bank in military style fashion. There was no doubt they were pros. Danny heard them holler that it was a hold up, Danny then ran across the street to look through the glass and he watched as one of the gunmen started firing, the bullets turning two of the tellers heads into a red mist. Danny hid in behind a car and continued to watch as they cleaned out the tills, vault and raced out to make their getaway. He was shocked.
Danny left the scene of the crime knowing that he had seen everything. The next day he read in the papers that the cameras in the bank had been disabled and none of the witnesses were willing to talk. He was the only witness. This was his big opportunity to make his due. He called up the bank and asked for the chief executive officer and told him that for a million dollars he would become an expert witness in the robbery and murders. It was a good deal for the bank because there was over 10 million dollars stolen.
The day of the trial Danny was riding up the elevator in the court house to the court room when two men joined him in the elevator. When Danny arrived on the courtroom floor the two men were gone and Danny was dead.
