STRANGE PEOPLE
WALKING THE STREETS

The Goggle Eyed Man

11/18/2020

I had seen him from a distance and from this distance it was close enough; there was no need to get any closer. He was known in town, simply as "Goggles." The reason why was because both of his eyes were protruding out of their sockets and from the side view you weren't even sure if they were eyes because you would never expect to see eyes protruding that far out of their sockets. There was also one other thing about his eyes and that was they looked in different directions. Sometimes one eye looked up when the other looked down, other times one eye looked to the side and the other looked the other way. The combination of these factors made Goggles an extremely scary looking man. But I felt sorry for him to a large degree because nobody wanted to get close to him and people would avoid all conversation with him whenever possible. This constant isolation made Goggles a bitter and angry man.

The Leather Mask

11/18/2020

I had seen him one night on my way home from work. He had just come around the corner and headed towards me and for whatever reason he was carrying a chainsaw. There wasn't much distance between us and I didn't want to make it obvious that I was avoiding him, but I think anyone that was walking down the street and saw a man carrying a chainsaw would be a little freaked out. I know I was. I didn't get a good look at his face. It appeared that he was wearing some kind of mask, but I couldn't be sure. I decided not to chance it and I cut over to the other side of the street and he did the same. I tried to play it cool but inside I was freaking out. I tried not to look at him but I could sense that he wanted me to. From the corner of my eye I could see that he was less than ten feet away and I wasn't going to take any chances so I bolted. He didn't try to chase me as I guess running with a chainsaw in your hand is not the easiest thing to do. I could hear him laugh, but it was a strange muffled kind of laugh, likely because he was wearing a mask of some kind.

The Man Wearing A Cape And Patch

11/18/2020

I had seen him only during the night. For whatever reason this was the only time he felt comfortable to come out. He had a most peculiar appearance as he stalked the streets at night. He wore a patch over his left eye and he only dressed in black, but the most unusual part of his attire was his cape. I remember seeing him on many nights when it was windy and he would stand facing the wind and let his cape ripple in the breeze. Other times he would stand there for an hour and feel the sensation of the wind across his face. Maybe he was a superhero and went out at night to rid the world of criminals? This was just a guess on my part. In reality he was likely just a loony who was trying too hard to be eccentric.
