It started about a year ago out of nowhere. There was no reason for it. It just happened. I wasn't even sure if I was really seeing it or if it was just a figment of my imagination.
It happened like this. There was a man walking down the street on a hot day and as he came towards me I noticed that he was glowing red around the perimeter of his body. I looked at his face and he seemed normal. There was nothing overly sinister about him. My first reaction was that he was the Devil. But then I thought to myself why would that man be the Devil and if he was the Devil, why would I be able to see that he was?
A couple of days went by and I had no other such experiences until I was on the subway and there was an old lady sitting across from me, she looked up because I think she could sense that I was staring at her and she said, "Can I help you young man?"
When she looked at me I was frightened as her face was completely in a red glow. I shook my head at her and stood up to get off the subway a couple of stops earlier than I usually do.
I went home that night and told my wife what I had experienced and she said to me that it was hot out and that my imagination was running away from me.
I decided that I would ride the subway at the same time for the next two to see if I could bump into the old lady again. Then about two weeks later I was on the subway and I sat across from the same old lady. I could not help staring at her and again she looked up at me with a dirty look. I looked hard at her for a second and no longer was her face glowing red.
I walked home relieved knowing that seeing the red glow was just an overactive imagination. As I approached my house my neighbor was out in the front mowing his lawn. He said hi and that's when I saw him glowing red. I said hi back and entered my house. I told my wife to come to the window and look at the neighbor to see if she saw anything red glowing on him and she said no. I shook my head and tried to get some sleep that night but couldn't. I reasoned to myself that if I was seeing red in my imagination that I would be seeing other things in a red glow, not just people. I tossed and turned that night only getting a hour of sleep.
I sat on the edge of my bed and looked at the alarm clock glowing in red, but it wasn't my alarm clock. It was my wife glowing red. I didn't want to say anything to her because she might have me locked up.
It was my day off from work so I decided to go for a long walk to clear my head. As I walked I counted at least a dozen people that were glowing red. The Devil. These had to be people possessed by the Devil and I had somehow out of the blue developed the power to see the Devil's spirit. It was now time not to go to a doctor but to go to a priest to tell him about my superpowers.
I went to see a priest and told him that I was seeing people glowing red and that I thought these people were possessed by the Devil. He told me that this was possible but he had never heard of a man seeing people that were glowing red. He reminded me that the Devil can take any form he wanted and that's why he is so elusive. The priest ordered me to stay at a monastery for a couple if days to be under observation.
I told my wife who was still glowing red, and she agreed. I stayed for three nights and left. The priest noticed nothing.
When I arrived home I went to shower and to my horror I was glowing red. I screamed and told my wife. She said I looked normal. But the next day I went to the doctor and he referred me to a therapist who ran some tests on me. A week later he called me into his office and told me to sit down.
"Mr. Juba. I have looked long and hard at what you claim and no it is not the Devil. We have done blood work on you, your wife, your neighbor and others that you claim were glowing red. You do have a special power to see things. The power to see energy. To see a person emanating the Covid 19 virus."
