The Story of Haden

​Haden grew up as boy who was quiet and considered an introvert. He was also a child who had little to no friends in his youth; the only friends he had were those of the invisible variety. Haden could always be seen talking to himself whenever he went out for walks and when he was alone. His single mother was concerned about his anti-social behavior, but dismissed his imaginary friends as him merely having an overactive imagination which was something normal for a young child. But there was something else that deeply haunted Haden from a young age and that was that whenever he heard someone scream, yell or cry he would suffer an attack equivalent to a seizure. His mother took him to doctors and he was put on medication but nobody knew the reason why he acted this way. 

​As Haden moved into junior high another deeper and sinister problem arose for him: bullying. It started out initially as kids poking fun at him during his seizures when he would hear someone cry or scream. Some kids laughed at him and others thought he was crazy and one religious student said that he was possessed by the devil. The stress from bullying increased Haden's fits in an exponential manner. When he got older the fits became more frequent and during his grade nine year he had his first fit that was accompanied with a violent attack on another student. Haden was then put in a special school and put on a more potent medication to control his ever raging temper. But the medication only worked when he took it. The problem for Haden was that he frequently forgot to swallow his pills and when his medication wore off his fits were twice as dangerous as his unmedicated self as a youth.

Haden's mother talked to a priest that she knew through a mutual friend and the priest agreed to set up an exorcism for Haden. He was now eighteen years old and his condition was worsening as the medications he was taking were no longer working which made his personality more volatile.

Haden agreed to the exorcism and it was set up at a Catholic church. The excorcist started in with a series of prayers to bring the demon inside Haden to the surface. Slowly Haden started to breath in a heavy manner and his eyes grew wider and wider. The excorcist continued to prod the demon inside Haden, telling the demon to come out and show itself. By this point Haden's face was beet red and he had to be restrained by four people.  Haden then started to scream like a woman, "Don't hit me you bastard! No! No! Can't you see that I am pregnant with my baby boy. Do you want to kill the both of us?"

Haden was now frothing at the mouth, his eyes were rolling back in his head and he then threw up all over the floor. Then like the flick of a light switch it was all over and the demon had left Haden.

The excorcist turned to Haden's mother and said, "You were abused when you were pregnant with him, weren't you. He would have heard your screams and suffering."
