​For those of you that don't know what telekinesis is, it is when a person has physical influence over a physical thing, entirely through the use of their mind. Most people are skeptical of someone claiming to have this ability, regarding it as a hoax or some type of gadget trickery that involves collusion with other people in order to get the desired effect. But there are also others out there who believe it to be true and some that want it to be true.

From the first time his father struck a match before his eyes to warn him of the dangers of fire the young Evan Turner became obsessed with burning flames. In secret, as a youth, Evan read everything he could get his hands on about pyrotechnics and fire. He read about the history of man and fire and the causes of it in nature. By the age of 14 he knew just as much about fire as anyone else in the world. The young Evan would also covertly head out into the woods to experiment with making fires and to see how various chemicals and substances reacted with the flames. He was not interested in becoming an arsonist or getting pleasure from seeing things burn. He was not like that at all. His goal was to control fire, to harness it and use it for his personal gain.
