The Neighbor in the Window

In the house that I grew up as a child our family lived in a neighborhood that posessed very nosy people. Our neighbor to our left was always looking through a hole in the fence or overtop of the fence to see what we were doing in our backyard. Our other neighbor to our right had a little mutt for a dog and a mutt for a wife. In the summer time I would have my bedroom window open which was directly facing their house and I would hear the wife of the family yapping to her husband as they were outside in their garden. All she would do is bitch and moan about the way that our house looked and how we didn't upkeep our lawn and how the pinecones from our spruce tree fell on their property and so on. 

​But the weirdest neighbors of all were the couple that lived across the street. Their names were Brian and Donna Samuelsson. They were both retired so they had nothing better to do than snoop on everyone in the area. Brian was the bitch of the couple as Donna would stand at the window in her room and holler at him through the screen to do things in the front yard. You could hear her voice from a long distance and I would laugh as she ripped into him on a daily basis. I was convinced that one day he was going to kill her. 

I wasn't sure when Donna slept and at times I thought that she might be a vampire. During the day she would stand in her bedroom window and either watch her husband work or stare into the street and observe the cars and people go by. The whole time that she stood there she had a cigarette in one hand and a glass of wine in the other. But when it came to nighttime she would move to the living room window and would stand there for the whole night. These was why I thought she never slept- because she never had time.

When I turned 18, I would go to the dance clubs five nights a week and I usually came around 4am and I would park my car in front of the house. I would then look over to the Samuelsson's house and Donna was standing in the window watching me. 

Then one day I was out for a walk and as I was passing the Samuelsson's house I heard Donna scream at me through the window, "Why do you come home so late at night? Where do you go? Why do you have to slam your car door so loud when you come home? You dirty little bastard you probably go out every night to pick up those filthy little bar sluts."

I said nothing and walked away. About a week later I picked up a girl from the bar and we parked in a parking lot about two blocks away from my house. We then walked back to my house where we snuck into my room. We started to fool around and just as things were getting raw I saw a tiny red light coming into my bedroom through the window. I got out of bed, turned off the light and looked outside but there was nothing there. 

A couple of nights later I walked by the Samuelsson's house and Donna was not standing at the window. Instead she was sitting in a chair watching a video. I looked at the television and she was viewing a porno video. I looked even closer and the video was of me and the girl from the other night. Donna had taped us. I knocked on the window to get her attention but Donna did not respond as she was too busy pleasuring herself as she watched the video.
