​The first time I had ever seen him was during the covid pandemic. I was working in a grocery store at the time and on this day I was near the front of the store watching the people come in just as the store opened at 9am. Everything appeared to look normal with all of the customers wearing their masks. But just as I was about to walk away and head back to work  a man came into the store that looked like he was from outer space. He caught my eye immediately as he wore sunglasses that were of a reflective gold substance. His covid mask was something that was most unusual as it was too made from a golden reflective substance but it was shaped at a strange angle, almost like a crow's beak. His jacket and pants were of silver reflective material that I had never seen before, but for some reason he was walking in his bare feet. I watched him as he came into produce and stared at all of the fruit and vegetables. He seemed to walk around in a daze, not really knowing where he was. It was almost as if he wasn't from earth. 

​When one thinks about travelling into the future one must contemplate the possiblity of the good and the bad. Will the future be one of technological marvels or of bliss and misery? Or could man retrogress back to a primitive state like Europe was during the dark ages?

​I had always wondered what was wrong with me. My whole life I had been told that I was different, anti-social, strange compared to the norms of society. Ever since I could remember I had been this way. I came to reason that there had to have been something that happened early in my life which made me like this, something that I could not remember. I had asked my parents and they said that I had a good upbringing and had never been abused. They said they did not know of any traumatic incidents that happened to me early on in life; to them I was a normal boy. When I asked them why I was such a loner they told me that many people were and there was nothing to be concerned about. But I knew they were lying because in the past I had heard them talking about me through the walls, saying that maybe they should send me to the therapist and get a brain scan done.
