The agony in my body has ceased. No longer can I breath or move. The blood in my veins is distant from my brain. My nerves have stopped feeling the sensation of pain. But I am still able to listen to various faint sounds and voices echoing in my head. Perhaps it is the netherworld calling. I am competent enough to anticipate internal moans of lamentations and catch ill-fated, disfigured phantom-like bodies in their devious acts. Sometimes my body will glow red and the celestial phantoms will take control. These foreign aliens move through my body with fluidity, unveiling sinister thoughts and unshuttering the windows of horror in my mind.
But there was a deception in my head and I could feel the presence of an imposter hovering around me. For an instant I could see clearly on my mind's mental screen. There he was, the imposter, falling from the sky and floating through my mind's infinite spacial plane. Under the imitation of a winged serpent, the imposter would strike with its venom glands, poisoning my mind.
I thought about my eternal star ascending to the next dimension as I withered away; my body gaunt, my face lacking any color but a deathly pale. I thought about infinite possibilities, consequences and perpetuity in the remote regions of the afterlife. My inoperable mind and my ungodly mental ailment lived in the inaccessible realms of hallucinations and daymares. These realms put me in a somnolence drowsy state where I appeared to be in a hypnotic trance. From head to toe my body became a chapel of death and then the final moisture from my eyes descended into tears, and lastly, came the total eclipse of my soul into darkness. The separation of body and soul was now complete and my disembodied spirit rose from my flesh. The heaviness of my body was gone and the pain and suffering was left in my lifeless corpse which lay dormant, appearing to be waiting eternally for resurrection. My gaseous self was now released from captivity of my body to roam and transcend the earthly horrors.
Set me free! Set me free! Into the deathless planes of the afterlife.
