For reasons unknown to myself I sit on the river bank and cry and moan continuously as I watch the voluminous river flow, knowing it will flow and exist long after I'm gone.
I walk through the open fields, the wrathful wind wraps me in its howls. I look at the earth and watch the willows sway. I hike the mountain thinking at one time I was promised the moon and the stars. I feel momentary undulations of waves under my feet as my elevation increases. At the top of the mountain through the fog things seem dull and pale. In the distance I hear a falling tree which had just been cut with a hatchet.
I felt I had no place to stand on earth and no place to belong in life; my mind overcast with grief. I pretend to make the thoughts in my mind disappear.
I see a boat in the distance appearing on the blue, raging, seething river. Then a body emerges from the water, only to sink and drown in audible chokes.
It then became midnight and soon I heard the eerie chants of the darkness. There were restless murmurs and I saw a seemingly dead man in the bush crying for help.
A hissing and screeching voice called out from a tree attempting to lure someone to it. Then a transparent light rose before me marking the beginning of my life spiritually and ending the script of my life on earth.
I walked towards the light and vanished into the next dimension.
