Many years ago I had worked in a grocery store that was very clean but then at one point for a reason that was inexplicable and other worldly the store had become infested with mice. And when I say infested I don't mean five or ten mice I am talking hundreds of them and they increased at an alarming pace. Every day we would set up traps and the next day we would haul away dozens into the garbage bin. This horrifying process went on for months. No matter how hard we tried to get rid of them they seemed to increase in population. They were everywhere. They were in the products, the walls, the drains, in the ceiling. Besides the fact that we had to clean up the dead mice there was something that was more grim and that was that we had to clean up the mouse feces which literally carpeted parts of the back room. It was like a horror film. The main problem I saw was that management did not think it was a problem at first and accused us of over exaggerating what was going on, but by the time he pulled his head out of his ass is was too late and the mice were running the store. The store was in such a predicament that if we would have called an exterminator he would have had to call the health board who would of closed us down. It would have been in the media and the store would have been closed for a long time and business would have been hurt for much longer after that.
