A Person's Story

​Can you ever really know a person's story?
Was their past pleasant or was it gory?

​How much did they tell you and how much did they conceal?
It could be hard to tell what is fake or what is real.

For many people their past is a series of lies.
For the trained observer the deception is in their eyes.

What really happened the night you had too much to drink?
Was it innocent or did it result in an hour of sexual kink?

Or what about that jolly trip to Spain?
And the video surfacing of you getting railed on a train. 

Is this relevant or should one even care?
Not until you find a pair of unknown underwear.
