Seth Jarvis was a man that had lived a normal life. He had grown up in an average family with no financial problems. He was never on the receiving end of any type of mental or physical abuse. Seth was a good student with decent grades and got into law school and eventually passed the bar. His wife was a average looking type, a lady that was nothing to write home about. He had two kids that were average in everything they did.
Seth's kids quickly moved out after post secondary which left him alone with his wife. She then died in her fifties which left Seth alone and lonely. Now in his sixties his sex drive was virtually non existent and he became more excited by a sale at the local supermarket than the thought of sex with a Playboy Playmate.
He became more secluded and would only leave his house for appointments and to get the necessities for sustaining life. But then the fate in his life took a most interesting twist when he was in his late 60s. He was sitting at home and for no logical reason his television exploded and covered the room in shattered glass. He wasn't sure what had happened as recently he had a professional install it. He called the company and they sent out a technician to have a look at the television. Upon investigation the technician said that there was nothing wrong with it and that Seth should call an electrician because there was likely a problem with the wiring in the house. As the technician was leaving he slipped on a piece of the shattered television and fell into the corner of a coffee table and punctured his eye. He was injured but managed to leave under his own power.
The next day Seth called the electrician who arrived two days later. Seth explained to him what had happened and the electrician began to examine the tangled web of wires that ran through the house that was over and hundred years old. Soon the electrician was up on his ladder and looking into the ceiling panels. Then all of a sudden there was a flash, a zapping noise and the electrician screamed and fell off his ladder. When he hit the ground he stumbled and fell down the stairs. Seth called the paramedics who said that the electrician had a broken neck. And while they were hauling him away the scissor stretcher that was carrying the electrician collapsed and one of the paramedics slipped under the stretcher and had his head crushed.
Not knowing what to do Seth called the police where two officers arrived and were baffled as to what had happened. They searched the house and questioned Seth who claimed that he could not explain the series of events. The police started to search the house where they were led into the cellar by Seth. The cops asked him about the strange smell but Seth did not respond. The police then found a door where the smell was coming from and the cop asked, "What's in here."
Seth said, "Nothing."
The cops sensed he was lying and opened the door and three black cats stepped out hissing at the cops. The cops stepped inside and both screamed.
Seth laughing, said, "Watch your step."
He then closed the steel door and bolted it tight. He stood by the door with his arms folded and grinning. He could hear the cops howling as they bubbled in the pit of acid.
