He was a man that was considered a malformed beast by society. He could not go out in public during the day and was relegated to walking the streets alone at night. Brody Brogdon was born a baby who only had one eye and a leg that was considerably longer than the other and one arm that was twice as long than the other. His parents were shocked when he was born and cried at the thought of raising the monster. The doctor had told the family that Brody's deformities were permanent and that other malignancies may be hidden in his DNA. The parents talked it over and agreed to accept Brody for what he was, but after several days they couldn't hide the fact that they no longer wanted the baby so they tried to give him up for adoption. Unfortunately, the adoption agency would not accept the baby because they could not afford the medical bills for Brody's conditions.
The parents of Brody then came to the horrid decision that they would would put Brody on the door step of a big expensive house and ring the doorbell, hoping the wealthy family would take care of him. They found a house, dropped off Brody and buzzed the door. Upon answering the door a lady picked up Brody and screamed and then immediately took him to the police who then placed him into an orphanage three days later.
Life in the orphanage was rough for Brody as he was continually beat up and bullied. During his time in the orphanage Brody also noticed that his deformities were becoming worse and worse and at the age of ten he decided to run away from the orphanage in order to be free. Then for several years he lived in back alleys and dumpsters, every day fighting to stay alive on the mean streets.
During his three years on the streets Brody felt that he was being stalked by a sadistic killer. He could sense the stalker but he couldn't see him. At every turn and every step his fear grew, thinking he was going to be murdered.
Brody had heard on the street that word was out that his deformities could be transmitted into one's DNA by simply touching him. This, of course, was not true and Brody was terrified by the thought that there was a bounty on his head to eliminate him from society.
The days passed by and Brody stayed on the move eluding his stalker at will. The stalker was becoming frustrated by Brody's ability to sense and evade him. Brody then realized that he could not keep living this way and made the decision to kill his stalker.
That night Brody limped out onto the street and proceeded down an alley sensing his stalker would follow him into darkness. Brody slowed up and then stopped under a bright lamppost. His stalker then crept up behind him and pulled out a knife to slash his throat, but it was too late as without even turning around to look at the man, Brody swung his arm in a roundhouse motion hacking the man's neck with a machete. The violent motion caused Brody's top hat to fall off and the last thing that Brody's stalker saw was the eye that Brody had been born with in the back of his head.
